    The short version: Use Flipsight to value items for resale. Don't misuse it. Price estimates are for informational purposes — we can't guarantee accuracy. Subscriptions are managed by Apple and billed through your Apple ID.
  

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Flipsight ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Flipsight does

Flipsight uses artificial intelligence and market data to provide resale price estimates for items you photograph. Price estimates are generated from eBay sold listing data and AI analysis. They are informational only and do not constitute professional appraisals or guarantees of sale price.

Flipsight is not affiliated with eBay or any other marketplace. Listing copy generated by the App is a starting point — you are responsible for the accuracy of any listing you post.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Flipsight. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Free tier and subscriptions

Free tier. Flipsight offers 5 free scans per calendar month with no account required. Free tier features are provided as-is and may change at any time.

Flipsight Pro. Pro subscriptions unlock unlimited scans, live eBay data, portfolio tracking, and price alerts. Subscriptions are offered on a monthly ($4.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) basis.

Billing. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Free trial. New annual subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid annual subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds. All refund requests must be made to Apple directly, as Apple processes all payments. We have no access to your billing information and cannot process refunds.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Flipsight for any illegal purpose, including listing stolen goods
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Use automated scripts or bots to access the App or our API
Circumvent scan limits or subscription enforcement through technical means
Misrepresent item condition when using AI-generated listing copy
Resell or sublicense access to Flipsight or our API
Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code through the App

6. Accuracy of price estimates

Price estimates provided by Flipsight are based on historical eBay sold listing data and AI analysis. They are approximate and for informational purposes only. Actual sale prices may vary significantly based on item condition, timing, platform, buyer demand, and other factors outside our control.

Flipsight does not guarantee that any item will sell at the estimated price. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on our estimates.

7. Intellectual property

Flipsight and all associated trademarks, logos, and content are owned by Flipsight and protected by intellectual property law. You may not use our branding without written permission.

AI-generated listing copy produced by Flipsight is provided for your personal use. You retain full ownership of any modifications you make to that copy.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLIPSIGHT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Flipsight harmless from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and Flipsight, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Flipsight at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
